I am an Ahmadi Muslim because my Gracious God has blessed me to be born into an Ahmadi family and this is purely a blessing from God that I am truly thankful for. Let me tell you why:
The Holy Prophet (sa) was the greatest man that ever lived. His teachings were so important that it saved mankind from destruction. We need to remember that everykind of sin was being practiced during his time. It was due to his blessed example that people left their old ways and adopted a true religion.
However, over the last 1400 years the beautiful shinning bright light that came into the world unfortunately began to fade away over time. People started to neglect the true teachings of the Holy Prophet (sa) and started making up their own rules.
By the Grace of God the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Sahib (as) was sent down as the promised reformer of Islam and ultimately rekindled the Holy Prophet’s (sa) light and helped it shine to the corners of the earth.
I am proud to be an Ahmadi Muslim because I have been taught the true teachings of Islam, the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
If I wasn’t an Ahmadi Muslim I would be celebrating birthdays, Christmas and Halloween, I wouldn’t have Ijtemas and would never be able to receive the beautiful blessings of Khilafat.
We are lucky to be blessed with the institution of Khilafat because our beloved Khalifa is like my spiritual father who gives us all the best guidance. Every time I see him it makes me very happy and I have a giant smile on my face.
I also love the spiritual atmosphere of Jalsa Salana, never have I witnessed a place where there is more love and brotherhood than Jalsa Salana. People from all nations gather together under one roof and celebrate the true teachings of Islam.
As a Waqf-e-Nau I hope and pray that when I grow up I can go to Jamia and become a Murabbi so that I can serve the Ahmadiyya Community to the best of my ability and help spread the beautiful teachings of the Holy Prophet (sa) and further the Promised Messiah’s (as) life long mission.
